1. so we go up to our room and our room and corridor smelled of ciggarette smoke i sprayed my room of perfume the room was clean and tidy same for the bathroom but no fridge no microwave cleaners came everyday did a great job supplied us with clean towels daily,next morning went straight to reception to ask if we can be moved to another room that didnt seem to be a problem and finally we got a connecting room for the whole family without the pong which was great but we shared our room with a mouse which my husband and daughter saw for their own eyes.

3. As some have said, it is in need of some refurbishment, but this not really a problem if the rooms are kept clean - which they were.

4. My only complaints would be that there was no safe in the room, the concierge guys were useless and our heating did not work (but it is May so not a problem).

6. Now the drawbacks, there is no refrigerator in the room which could be a problem in summer if you have child and wants to use it for baby food and milk.

7. Staff was friendly and helpful -- a plumbing problem was fixed very quickly, and missing amenities were quickly replaced.

8. Having said that we suffered some of the same problems reported in the other reviews (curtains not fully closing, noisy coke machine in corridor, poor decor, old tv etc) but to be honest we did'nt care,we were in New York and excited.

10. She talked to front desk and we were moved to another room, they said they would have exterminators in the next day to see if there was a bed bug problem - they never got back to us whether it was or not (for the sake of people staying there now, I hope not).
