I stayed at the Roosevelt for 5 nights, and after trying to find a good hotel with a good price ( everything was sold out or VERT
expensive
due to the United Nations General Assembly) we found the Roosevelt, which was a great surprise.

One drawback is the lack of decent restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel during the evening, and the hotel restaurant was a little too
expensive
for us.

One note is that the hotel bar is a little
expensive
so if you want a beer find a local bar, apart from that we would recommend this hotel.

I didn't eat in the restaurant or drink in the bar as the prices were very
expensive
but there's a lovely cafe across the road and down on the corner towards Grand Central Station that I got a lovely breakfast for under $10.

So if you are planning on staying at this hotel, I would go for the more
expensive
rooms because I think you would have a better experience.
