1. downside being there was no tea/coffee making stuff in the room which was missed.

2. Only downsides were slightly grumpy check in staff (who offered no greeting or apology for room not being available at check-in, but at check out time were much more cheerful) and no tea / coffee in room (though they served starbucks at reception in the morning).
