1. a must is top of the rock rockefeller center, the grand central station, empire state building,central park was ok seen better parks thou, and don't forget Macy's shops On broadway, before you set off for new York book yourself a table at room at top great meal.

2. Also in walking distance is the rockefeller Center (visit to the 'Top of the rock' was superb), Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall.

3. The room was certainly very clean and comfortable, it felt a bit drab compared to similarly priced rooms but all can be forgiven when they're shooting an episode of 30 rock right outside your window.

7. As for it's location - it would be difficult to choose better; a stone's throw from the MOMA, a lazy walk to Central Park, Macy's, ESB, Top of the rock, and bang in the middle of theatre district.

9. Also did Statue of Liberty (make sure get tickets in advance) and we missed our actual time to go since we were running behind with a group of 10 but ended up getting put in the short line (so be like 10 minutes late) I recommend Top of the rock during day and Empire state building at night.
