1. The only negative point can be that the lobby is sometimes overcrowded but when you're staying there severel days you start to know the avoid hours :-) (if you know what I mean)is also a crew hotel for Air France so if you're staying at the same floor this is ideal as they just arrive and sleep.

2. Don't be put off that the lobby is on the ninth floor - the lifts at the entrance do not take you anywhere else and so you cannot get lost (however I did not see any stairs so may not be suitable for people who avoid lifts).

3. I'd avoid rooms 08 as they are by the ice machine.

4. I try to avoid Times Square when in NY, and Novotel would not be my first choice in New York, but business-related appointments forced me to this location and a budget-friendly hotel choice.
