6. New York`s Novotel Hotel is quite good in most respects: On Broadway, within blocks of Times Square; reasonably spacious rooms and the entire hotel was well decorated; the staff was helpful; and the food was tasty, timely and reasonably priced (not always the case in NYC); BUT from our room we could hear the elevator running day and night and it was loud enough to keep us from getting a good night`s sleep.
