1. My only demerits are that they have an ominous sign on the minibar about charging you if some automatic sensor can tell you moved something (no big deal for a weekend, I was thinking of using it for some drinks of my own, but didn't).

2. When you enter the hotel you have to take an elevator to the main floor, which really isn't a big deal.

3. The rooms were nothing fantastic but had the basic amenities, clean sheets etc we were on a high level floor but very poor view, but was not a big deal, as we were mostly out exploring New York.

8. Overall, the room was clean and larger then most rooms in Manhattan and since we were out doing things each day it was not a big deal that there was not much in the way of ambiance in lobby.
