1. Centrally located (close enough to Central Park to smell the horses, right next to Carnagie Hall, a couple of blocks from MOMA, and a short walk to Times Square), this hotel's main asset is the spacious and comfortable rooms you get for slightly more than the cost of far tighter quarters in hotels not nearly so well located.

2. This IS an older hotel, so you'll notice things like peeling paint and window unit a/c's, but the rooms are clean with no bad smells.

4. The carpets look new, nothing looks worn, the paint isn't peeling, the elevators worked perfectly, the hallways don't smell bad, the staff is extremely helpful and always smiling.
