1. I also recommend standing on the rocks in the park for some great pics with the NYC skyline as the backdrop.

2. I have stayed in this hotel twice and recommend it the rooms are a really good size and the staff are brilliant, The location is perfect just a few minutes walk from times square,central park, 5th avenue empire state building and rockafella top of the rock.

4. The location is fantastic - a subway station at each end of the block, but also walking distance to so many sites (Central Park, 5th Ave, Times Square, rock Ctr, etc.

5. Though not the hotels fault, there were crews working on the sewers all weekend, and construction site across the street with a rock hammer going not stop, and a contruttion site next door, with cement trucks delivering concrete, and thus lined up idling in front of the hotel.

7. On the other hand, if you don't mind old, sleep like a rock, and want a big clean room or suite only two blocks south of Central Park and a block from a subway station, the Salisbury is a great choice.
