1. We do not spend a lot of time in any hotel when we are visiting cities so the lack of bar or restaurant did not bother us.

4. Room was spacious but the A/C was super loud, shower was finicky and more importantly their customer service from the front desk and the luggage folks was poor to the point that I wouldn't return despite the great location, reasonable price and lack of bedbugs.

5. The only downside to the location is the lack of restaurants/cafes nearby, though with easy access to the subway it is not a big issue.

6. I was worried due to lack of specific detail in reviews, but it is an older hotel, certainly not as nice as the Waldorf, but the suites have two rooms with three large closets a refrigerator, microwave and sink.

7. Those reviewers who felt the rooms were lacking are wrong - we had our friend (a NY real estate agent) up to our suite and she was very impressed for the reasonable rate we paid.
