3. We enjoyed our spectacular first four days, but unfortunately were awakened on the fifth morning at 6:00 AM by the sounds of hammering, trucks backing up, fork lifts, and various other non-Hawaii-like sounds.

5. unfortunately, 2 days of our 3 day stay happened to be the scheduled renovation of a poolside restaurant.

6. The hotel has many good features but unfortunately they were on construction and the hallways were crowded with maintenance personnel, ladders, and plastic covers.

7. unfortunately, we didn't get to try either Norio's or Brown's Beach House as we ended up going 'off campus' around dinner time primarily due to the bad weather and looking for entertainment for our teens, but the concierge gave us great recommendations for 'off campus' dining and activities, all of which we enjoyed.
