2. I was worried about the music below (bar) being a problem, we like to leave our slider open at night while we sleep to hear the ocean, it was just a tad loud, but apparently not a problem since I slept through it.

3. We are SPG gold members, have stayed at countless Sheratons over the years and I would have to say I was disappointed by the Sheraton Waikiki on several levels but it's a shame because these problems would be easily fixed if management got their act together.

If you are staying with more than yourself in the room and you need more bathroom privacy due to the shutter style window that some complained didn't provide enough sound barrier, my solution, take a quick ride down the elevator ( another thing I never had a problem with both trips, plenty of them and they were never too crowded and we went when hotel was 98% capacity.
