1. avoid the breakfast buffet unless you have it included in your package.

2. One note: the hotel does cater to large Japanese tour groups, so if you're Agoraphobic you'll want to avoid the lobby (and perhaps Waikiki altogether).

5. One of the noisiest hotels I have ever stayed in, avoid having an adjoining room as we were kept awake by noisy people in our adjoining room until very late at night and also woken up in the middle of the night.

8. We did have a few issues in our last few days with the people below us smoking which meant we had to keep our door closed and avoid too much time on the balcony.

9. Also, make sure that you avoid getting a connecting room as this adds to the noise level.

10. They now run a resort charge which includes free parking, bottled water, pool facilities etc so you know what you will pay and it avoids the nickel and diming that some properties indulge in.
