1. We were on the 13th floor (yes it was actually marked 13) and the view of the lake was spectacular.

7. I pre-booked a four day stay with my wife as the hotel is next to Grant Park on the lake front and fairly central to the Magnificant Mile and a range of museums etc.The hotel is of a Victorian style with large, bay windows and very high ceilings giving a feeling of spaciousness.
