1. WE experienced the bite, WE were in a BED filled with BUGS … so then my husband quickly asked for a physician to come in right away, because whatever did bite him drew blood, and he was at risk for infection or disease.

2. There were many of these bigger bugs all over the headboard (photo 2), and at close inspection of the white sheets, there were dozens upon dozens of smaller bugs in the bed.

4. Instead, we had to take initiative to find the manager, find out what was in our bed, find out the next steps from the exterminator, and even find a garbage bag for our luggage.

5. We told them that the bug we had in the cup had bitten my husband’s ear, and that our bed was filled with what we thought were bed bugs.

6. From what I could see, the bed was made and towels changed, but no real dusting, floor cleaning, etc. Such that by the last day, the room was dirty.

8. I did check the bed and sheets extensively (as I always do when staying at a hotel) and it was clean.

9. He showed us how to inspect a room for bugs, and proceeded on inspecting our new room, pulling back curtains and taking apart the bed.
