3. We knew beforehand about the additional charges they had ($28.16 hotel resort fee per day, and $15 per day for parking), so I wasn't surprised when I got the bill.

4. By the time one would buy several of the items a la carte, the bill would not be too far from that price anyway, so make this your main meal of the day, and soak up the view that is worth the price of the buffet all by itself.

5. The only complaint we have is that they additional taxes and fees are not disclosed upfront, so in the end our total bill was more than what was quoted on the phone.

6. With the alleged 'resort' fee of $20 + parking if you drive (and the added taxes to both) that can add quite a bit extra to your hotel bill.

7. We tried to pay cash since we did not want any incidentals added to our hotel bill and Jeff with the scooter rental place (Key West Water Sports) at Casa Marina refused payment and told us to return it in the morning that he was closed for the day.

8. Even though they were supposedly separate entities, somehow the charges for the scooter appeared on our hotel bill from Casa Marina.

9. As many people seem to be unpleasantly surprised by this extra 'tax' on their room bill, I think the hotel should include it in the advertised room rate, even if they have to raise it.

10. Disappointments include: being billed every step of the way with extra charges for internet connection ($12/day), breakfast buffet ($20/pp), self parking ($12/day - by the way there was plenty of available free parking on the street around the hotel when we were there).
