1. It is true that they charge for parking, internet usage, a resort fee, etc. However, I did feel that I got my money's worth with the daily paper, the popsicles, free cocktail and water at the pool, access to a nice gym, etc. No one likes to pay more than they have to, but I didn't feel ripped off.

2. They waived the $20 a day resort fee when we could not upgrade which was nice of them.

7. We knew beforehand about the additional charges they had ($28.16 hotel resort fee per day, and $15 per day for parking), so I wasn't surprised when I got the bill.
