3. Also, be forewarned, as I was, that you will pay $20/day as an amenities fee, and a minimum of $12/day for self- parking, or $20/day for valet parking.

4. We took full advantage of that along with snaks, drinks, etc. Self parking is $12, so that was nice as opposed to most hotels that charge $24 for valet parking.

6. As I said, these are nitpicks and if you are not on a budget, you can use valet parking and pay the prices for food and drink.

7. I chose the valet parking because it was easier, but I really didn't need a car at all on Key West as everything is pretty much in walking distance or you can rent a bike or scooter to get around.

8. The parking situation I didn't like too well, I had a rental car and the choices were valet parking for $20 a day or $12.50 per day to park in the lot across the street.
