7. It looks so wonderful inside - but the staff were pretty unhelpful, very snooty, and they all looked very unhappy (which is always a great clue about well/badly a place is run).

First, we get to the hotel with our bags and the doormen don't lift a finger to assist --- there is a flight of stairs from the entrance up the lobby area that we had to carry our bags up --- not a big deal for us, as we're in good shape, but I have to wonder about folks that couldn't handle it.
