6. For us we would not have stayed anywhere else as this hotel is the epitome of luxurious New York from bygone days and if only Hilton paid attention to the small items we would rush back there as the location is perfect, however we will probably look elsewhere for our next trip or maybe pay the extra and try The Towers.

8. Not quite what one expects from a luxurious hotel of this standard - I put a call into Guest Services to let them know and to their credit they got a menu to my room while I was out foraging for food on Lexington Ave and my experience the next night was much better.

9. We booked Broadway tickets with a backstage tour, reservations at amazing restaurants, limo service, shopping excursions, a carriage ride in Central Park, tickets to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and the icing on the cake: I booked a suite at the Waldorf Astoria, a hotel I have always wanted to stay at given its rich history and its reputation for beautiful decor and luxurious accomodations.

10. Our room which was a king, was much bigger than I expected knowing most NY rooms are tight on space, the bed was ultra luxurious, the furniture was stylish and the marble bathroom was classy.
