1. Service throughout all aspects of the hotel was consistently outstanding: from checkin (where someone called to followup a little while after we got to our room), to housekeeping, and the restaurants.

2. if you are looking for OUTSTANDING service you may want to try The Carlyle- from the moment you step in that hotel you are well served- I will return to Waldorf Astoria if I can find prices under $300 per night- It is currently being renovated and the outside is hidden behind mesh-.
