6. Here is just a little taste; as I come and go in the hallways there is a proactive good day sir, how are you, can I help with anything? Then while I sit at Oscar's bar, the bartender asks and then asks whats your pleasure.

7. A subway stop is right on the corner of Lexington and 50th St, where we bought a $29 pass good for unlimited rides on the city's great bus system.

Recently stayed for 3 nights at the Waldorf - first impressions were good as the ground floor and the reception lobby were very impressive, dark wood panels and a large brass and marble clock dominated, however when we got to our floor it was very non-descript and the room itself was a bit tired looking (particularly the bathroom) and could do with a bit of redecorating.
