6. The sightseeing bus stops right outside (a good idea for a first visit - top tip though, stay on the bus for the whole tour before deciding what to visit, that way you get a good idea of whats where and the distances between - New York is a BIG place to walk.

7. When we checked in on April 14, the very nice woman at the front desk gave us a complimentary upgrade and we ended up with a beautiful, big, corner room on the 30th floor of the Waldorf Towers, facing uptown.

8. Location is superb, close to all the central sites and very close to the big department stores so you can pop home to drop off your shopping before going out somewhere else.

10. Work being done on outside of the building so couldn't appreciate the external architecture but the lobby was very grand, though a little confusing it was so big.
