1. * When I notified the staff of the phone not being connected / working in my relatives room despite several reminders over three days - no action, which whilst a small issue it did negatively effect our stay given our rooms had to be on different floors etc.

The next day my husband spoke to reception, they said they would resolve the issue, they never came back to us, the next day my husband spoke to a different person on reception who had no knowledge of the previous conversations, she also promised to get back to us, the next morning, the day we were checking out they left a message to say they couldn't take it back as we had left it too long to ask.

4. The bathroom was huge for a standard size room and had a very large shower and separate tub that I wish I used after I returned to my standard issue 5' tub in NYC.

6. My issue with this hotel is that I had to call several times and beg the manager for a free night, which he was hesitant and I tried to argue that we really deserved more than that.

8. Some might not like the sliding (opaque) window between the bedroom and bathroom area, but we didn't find it to be an issue.

9. We arrived late on the Saturday night and check in was as simple as ever, the only issue was they (the hotel staff) put both rooms in my travel companions name which confused the billing quite a lot.
