5. Mark on the concierge desk was particularly helpful when we had a problem with our holiday as Killington (which was our next stop) was badly affected by Hurricane Irene and we had to arrange alternatives for a week and speak to the company in London who had arranged our stay.

6. The hotel is about 2 blocks away from the South St Station (subway) and maybe 3 or 4 blocks from the Long Wharf and NE Aquarium, so it's not bad.

8. Too bad I felt judged and scrutinized by the snooty, aloof staff, given eye rolls by the wait staff when we oredered a bottled of champagne at the bar and given dirty looks by Urkel the over zealous security guard.
