The location was convenient to the airport as you can take City Water Taxi across Boston Harbor from the airport dock to the rear entrance of the hotel and
avoid
a taxi ride through Boston traffic.

I generally
avoid
large corporate hotels when I can as I think they lack character and all the rooms all feel & look the same.

The one word of caution would be to
avoid
the concierge for restaurant suggestions - they recommended a place that they were affiliated with and it was not 'moderately' priced as we requested nor the type of gourmet we were looking for.

avoid
the steep hotel prices, on the first morning, Sunday, we brewed cups of coffee in the room (wished there was enough coffee for more than one cup apiece.

The translucent window that slid open above the bed was an odd accent, which meant if we got up in the night to visit the bathroom we had to grope around in the dark, so as to
avoid
illuminating the bedroom and thus wake each other up.
