1. I did find that the lobby area was very clean and neat in apperance BUT once you left the lobby, I was in for a shocking experience.

We were kind of shocked at our arrival, every thing is so old and dirty, the design at the lobby is weird, when we asked the staff concerning the rating given by expedia they responded:for now it is a 3 star but this summer when the tourists arrive it is going to be a 4 star hotel, i wonder what is going to change? The concierge had to give us a cable to plug in so we can get the internet.

4. After staying in some quite modern Hotels in Sydney and Bangkok it came as a bit of a shock when we first walked into our room at the Flatotel.

5. I should have stopped off for a drink, I had the time (the elevators took about 10 minutes) and it would have lessened the shock of seeing/smelling my room.
