4. Paint was scuffed and chipping off in places, the carpet was dirty, bed platforms were chipped, furniture legs wre chipped and bent, the sheer curtains that were under the EXTREMELY dusty drapes (i mean major fuzz at the top) had holes in them.

10. Standards in NY are different but really, you don't have to stay in a dirty and uncomfortable hotel, you can easily find a hotel at similar cost that is much nicer.
