2. and were shocked to see the old and ugly room with the smallest bathroom and stained carpets, when we complained we were told that the hotel is fully booked, the lobby of the hotel is still very nice,breakfast is rich and the service very good , the problem lies in the old and shabby rooms.

Pros and cons:The good:- convenient location with a underground pass to Grand Central station just a few feet away from the hotel- spacious room with a comfortable bed- nice welcoming lobby areaThe bad:- this hotel really needs to upgrade its furnishings- when I looked out the window and opened the curtains, I noticed that they were really stained, they looked like they haven't been washed or changed in years.
