1. I do agree with other travellers that the rooms might be a bit dated, but as well larger than the average hotel room in manhattan.

2. The rooms are little shabby, and it is a historic building so the bathrooms are a bit dated and cramped, but the size of the room is decent for NYC standards.

9. There was a nice desk and a floor lamp, plus an (obsolete) TV set, but I did not go to NYC to sit watching TV, so everything OK as long as they were adequate and functional (having said that, the furniture did look a bit dated).
