5. After a long day of walking around the city you might hope that the hotel was slightly more central, but the location between Park and Lexington at 48th St is within a very short walk of 30rock, Grand Central, the Chrysler Building and St Patricks Cathedral.

6. The location was perfect - we were able to walk to a lot of the main touristy locations around 5th Ave, Times Square, 30 rock, etc.

7. saw statue of liberty by helicopter along with ellis island, ground zero, brooklyn bridge,empire state , top of the rock, times square etc brilliantused the subway alot to commute between different neighbourhoods really cheap but a great expereince once you've got ur bearings, new yorkers really helpfull cant say the same for the police tho, they dont seem to know where anything is and when they do they send u in the wrong direction soon learnt not to ask them.

8. nyc a bit daunting for the 1st timer but we had a ball we saw most of it on foot to get a good feel for the atmosphere plus you can see more when walking, visited empire state plus did the skyrider simulater, ok but not brilliant wouldnt do the sky rider again bit pricey, top of the rock at night awesome really enjoyed it,visited ground zero to pay our respects nothing to see really but there is a lovely memorial on the wall quite moving and visitors centre, lots of work going on there to improve the centre.
