1. Was on the 8 th floor -maybe going up will help w street noise but the hall and neighbors are a problem.

2. I had a reservation, but was told that the only room left in the hotel had a problem - that the hand sink did not work, and would flood the bathroom if I tried to use it.

3. The only problem was there was contruction outside at the neighboring hotel and this kept me up the first night and I called to get a room change but it was not possible.

5. At check out I mentioned to Sokol the inconvenience and asked if we could have a bar bill from the day before removed from our bill ($37) he stated that he had no record of our problems because it wasn't entered into the computers and that he was not willing to comp the charge.

7. When we first got into the room we were having problems with the tv remote, someone was up within 5 minutes to fix it.

8. She could teach a class in 'Class' She had all our technical problems worked out long before we arrived and kept in touch throughout the entire process.

9. and were shocked to see the old and ugly room with the smallest bathroom and stained carpets, when we complained we were told that the hotel is fully booked, the lobby of the hotel is still very nice,breakfast is rich and the service very good , the problem lies in the old and shabby rooms.

10. On check in I asked which floor my room was to be on and was told it was a lower floor, I asked if there were any rooms available higher up (noise issues from the street but in NY you can't beat that and is not a problem specific to the property).
