The only negatives I would give to this hotel is the price of the mini-bar (overpriced drinks and snacks - go to the Deli up the road which sells a lot more for a lot less), the fact that the bathroom didn't have a bath (which is useful after a days walking in NYC) and the roof-top bar was closed, which would have been a nice location to chill after a days sightseeing.

The minuses: the walls are paper thin - you can easily carry on a conversation through them, as I had to one morning when the maid tried to enter before I'd arisen out of bed, also the adjacent restaurant is WAY overpriced for what it is (an 'upscale' hamburger joint), plus the price of the hotel room made it feel as if I wasn't getting a great value.
