1. Reception and staff are helpful, efficient and nice; the Rare place is of a good quality, but I feel it is overrated; anyways, NYC is full of food and beverage joints of all kinds, especialy around the hotel; too bad they did not open the rooftop yet (opens end of April I believe).

2. Two points to mention: wi-fi is not free of charge in the rooms (in the lobby it is free of charge though) and quite often it was difficult to get an elevator, so I was taking stairs instead (that bad it was.

3. We made it to our room and the remodel must of missed this room on the 2nd floor (room 210) as the carpet was dirty, the bed was very flimsy (springs squeaked) and the worst part was the bathroom shower was dirty and in really bad bad shape.

5. Attached to the hotel is the Rare restaurant which serves good burgers and althought a little expensiveits not too bad by Manhattan standards.
