1. Even so, in over 25 years of global travel, our stay at the Pointe earned a place on our Top 5 worst Hotels Ever list (Romania's Hotel Razvan taking first).

2. We stayed buld #21 which may be the worst one because you walk to your room along a rock wall and the building.

3. It has all the price of a high end resort but it has the worst service I have seen in years, a nickel and dime attitude to resort amenities that usually come standard with the room and it is run down and leaking (even after the 25M refit).

5. The Different point of View restaurant is beautiful and has an amazing view over Phoenix but we went to a tasting menu dinner there that was probably the worst value meal we've ever had in our lives.
