1. I will mention that we had wine at the Champagne Bar also at the Plaza Hotel, which I would also highly recommend as it is intimate and provides beautiful views out onto Fifth Ave.

4. Overlooking Central Park with great views up the West Side a lovely side window the suite was light filled and SO quiet for a hotel smack bank in the middle of NYC, and trust me, we are light sleepers.

5. The also recommended visting the Top of the Rockefeller Building instead of the Empire State building - it wasn't as crowded and had a great view of both Downtown and Midtown.

7. The suit was nicely renovated and spacious with a high ceiling and has a royal bathroom with all the gold mosaic, the room was more beautiful then the pictures online, with a spectacular view of Central Park.

9. Taxis inexpensive in Manhattan, so take one south and get a good view- the Hop on bus was too hot and congested and seats too small.
