1. Besides the food, the ambiance is wonderful, as the staff was highly accommodating.

2. I spent a couple of hours at the bar in the lobby trying many of the Champagnes on offer, I found all of the staff at the Plaza to be attentive and helpful, nothing was to much trouble.

4. staff were responsive to my request to set up an Easter egg hunt in the room at checkin for my son, and I was able to make use of the hotel car a number of times during my stay (you have to ask about this as it is a great service).

The champagne bar is fun for cocktails but closes fairly early leaving only the Rose bar which is a dark, strange place with the feel of maybe and old New Orleans bordello (or what I would imagine one would look like!) The concierge was charming and solicitous and the bell staff friendly and personable - every one of them.
