1. Second, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and third, and maybe it was only in my room, the mini-bar fridge was iced over and was working super hard and loud.

8. Incidentally, talking of Union Square, the times we walked round there, the street entertainment was so loud I'd have been driven nuts to have actually stayed in some of those hotels.
