1. The hotel itself needs a refresh, and the room was small, dingy and quite noisy.

8. There was some sort of remodeling or repair work being done on the outside of the hotel building, and workers were up on scaffolds using noisy power tools, but this occurred only during the day, when we were either out of the room or didn't mind.
