1. unfortunately it didn't because we didn't get a receipt with the taxis medallion number, so I cannot stress this enough, when in a cab.

3. An item of mine fell behind the bed which gave me the unfortunate opportunity to see an enormous amount of dust that lined the wall and floor along our headboard which may explain the amount of sneezing we experienced once we returned to our room in the evenings.

4. unfortunately, the double suite they gave us looked nothing like the website, and the manager admitted that they only have one double suite with the separate room that actually looks like the beautiful room on the website.

7. The hotel was far from awful but unfortunately missed the extra flares and touches that I like to see in a hotel (eg super efficient service) and lacked some of the facilities you would expect (free wifi in you room, on-site catering facilities).

8. unfortunately, one of the two elevators on our side of the hotel was out of service, so getting up and down was slow-going, although there are stairs you can use right next to the elevators.

9. Their restaurant closed which is unfortunate (mostly inconvenient) but they said it would open again soon and of course there are more than enough choices on the upper westside.

10. unfortunately, at this juncture, there is no lobby restaurant, which would have been nice, likewise we would have loved to have had a pool at this location, but we are well aware that pools are quite uncommon on the island.
