1. There were other problems with the hotel that we would have dismissed but since we had the bed bug problem they seem to be magnified.

The construction wasn't the problem ironically, the problem was the room doors have absolutely no sound proofing and the housekeeping staff were literally letting the doors behind them slam all morning from 8 am to check out it was a continual stream of slamming doors, knocks, elevator bells and talking that could be heard clear as a bell from bed.

9. 3) The toilet in my bathroom made dripping noises all night (although to their credit, I didn't notify anyone of the problem because I didn't return to my room until late in the evening) and could have been cleaner.
