,no view room but got instead an impressive size room with a great view of the Empire State bldg.

Hallways are
tiny
and there are only about 7 or 8 rooms on a floor so if you ask for a room away from the elevator, that's nearly impossible (only the bigger sized corner rooms might qualify but you may have to pay more).
