1. Nearly 400$ a night for a room which was dark, small and a bathroom like a cell in a dungeon with poor extractor fan, and a bath (which we had to ask for specially otherwise we'd have had a shower without specifying) you get your ankles wet and not much else in.

2. The elevator situation was poor, with 10 minute delays in getting up or down in peak times.

3. Check-in and check-out were extremely expedient; easy access to Koreatown and Herald Square; hard to beat low triple-digit rates, especially in Midtown Manhattan; not much of a lobby or bar; rooms are small; slim and tall building with a narrow entrance; views are poor on the lower floors.

5. Tom, who works the concierge, was SUPERB, he was so helpful and friendly (OK that's his job) but he explained everything to me and the poor chap worked all day Christmas Day with a smile on his face and eager to help.

7. Only problem in the room was the heating: the windows seems to do a poor job at keeping the heat inside, so if outside it's cold the room will soon become cold; the heating however, in perfect american style will blow so hot and powerful that will make the room very hot; it was a bit of a struggle to keep the room at a decent temperature and the thermostat didn't seem to work very well; however after traveling in the US I think this is a general problem of any space in the US, private or public: it's either too hot or too cold, they don't seem capable to deliver the temperatures in between.
"Very good hotel overall " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/14/2009 Vote

10. Easy enough to fix with a bath mat, just a very poor design for a new hotel.
