1. Only drawbacks: breakfast was somewhat overpriced unless you're really loading up for the rest of the day, rooms could be a little bigger.
"Great location, clean rooms, reasonable rates " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/4/2011 Vote
2. - The breakfast, while decent, is overpriced at about $16 or $17 per day for what is basically a continental breakfast, plus a gentleman making eggs to order and a steam tray of breakfast meats.
"Good, solid Midtown option with very good staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/16/2011 Vote
3. They had this pantry downstairs with snacks (nothing overpriced) and a business center.

6. Also, going back to the overpriced hotels that seem to proliferate NYC, here you get free wi-fi, free business center, and a fitness center w/good equipment and amenities like water and towels.
"Great value and service at the HGI - 35th! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/5/2010 Vote
7. We felt the breakfast buffet is overpriced (about $18/person).

8. Anyway, this hotel comes with many amenities: a 'pantry' where you can get things from candy to microwave dinners, needless to say, everything is overpriced, so I'd suggest going to Walgreen's on 5th Ave (next to the Empire State Building) for all your around the clock needs(there are also some other small fast food restaurants on 6th Avenue but we didn't have any need for them, personally), cable TV, a business center, gym, ice machines on every 3 floors, wireless internet, microwave and refrigerator in the room.
"Beautiful hotel was almost too good for the price! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/14/2009 Vote
9. overpriced at $18 + tax, but it's Manhattan, so expect that kinda stuff everywhere.
"Perfect replacement for a bad hotel! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/31/2009 Vote
