3. Normally Hilton hotels (other than Conrads) don't really grab me and the majority of Hilton (or Hilton affiliated hotels) I personally think are very poor value for money.

4. However, I didn't feel that this inconvenience was caused by an especially poor isolation of the Hampton Inn's rooms - they just don't build solid walls in the States, and the girls were really, really loud ;-)The hotel's staff was not only professional to a very high standard, but also every single person we dealed with was very friendly and supportive - honestly, I did not expect that in a hotel like this.

5. They offer us the suite at the 19th floor, with a beautifull view on the Empire State Building, but this didn't balanced my poor impression regading their service.

6. When we mentioned how disappointed we were with the poor service, tiny room, one bed for 3 people, and how staff had lied to us at least twice, we were told 'Well you got a good rate.
