7. First let me share that I've taken MANY trips to NYC for business and stayed in some of the BEST hotels (at my employers expense), and I feel confident recommending this hotel to travels who aren't on an unlimited expense account.

10. Although I hear this is the norm in NY?? Also it is quite noisy, again not a huge deal - take some ear plugs as I did as I had read it was noisy, and dont bother with the 'rooftop' bar, expensive and pretty rubbish by NYC cocktail standards.
