The staff was very helpful and pleasant - willing to please - during the Noreaster it was
difficult
to flag down a taxi - the doorman stood on the corner for quite some time to get us a taxi so we weren't exposed to the elements.

to access public transportation (and hence the rest of New York) from this location.
