1. I have stayed in some shocking places before but the high quality of this hotel made our entire trip so effortless, it was great not having to worry about what we would be going back to after a long day of sightseeing.

2. Also all the 'crockery and cutlery' is disposable - paper cups, plastic cutlery and polystyrene plates - I was shocked but found this in other NY delis.

4. One of the few 'positives' about the rooms was the charge we developed from the dirty, stained nylon carpets which resulted in entertaining static shocks.

8. Whilst I agree that the hotel is in a good location and the rooms are very clean, I am shocked that nobody has commented on the ridiculously small size of the rooms.

9. I was kind of shocked by the disparity between the massive crowd around the ice rink and tree and how empty / spacious it was at the top.
