1. The only problem we encountered was the noise at night from the street which made it difficult for our kids to sleep, so we requested another room in a different part of the hotel, which the staff graciously accommodated, and our last 2 nights were much quieter.

2. ROOM NEGATIVES: About the only complaint we had was the lack of lighting; after sunset the lighting was so faint that it was incredibly difficult to read in bed or see really well in the corners of the room.

4. Apart of the noise, I can pint to some small things - no reading lights by the bed (only ceiling-mounted lamp), and no glasses at the bathroom (they do provide paper cups w/covers for coffee machine), making it difficult to organize toothbrushes, razors etc.

7. Breakfast as usual in New York was classed as continental and surprising to us having previously stayed here before had been reduced in variety and plastic dishes and plates and cutlery were provided which were rather difficult to seperate and caused problem queues.

9. In actual fact both windows could not be opened and given the fact that New York was experiecing a mini heat wave with temperatures nearly 30 degrees it made sleeping difficult.
