5. For the flight on the way the staff were very rude and had no customer service skills, which is surprising considering all the other Americans we spoke to whilst we were in New York were extremerly friendly and helpful.

6. Theres one thing that lets this lovely central hotel down and unfortunately its the staff or 90% of them very rude and unhelpful, only one receptionist was really nice and 1 doorman who was nice.

7. The journey involves muti drop offs when you just want to get to the hotel and a rude and smelly driver that leaves the a/c off in 100 heat.

I don't usually write reviews but feel so strongly about the arrogant, ignorant and rude staff at this hotel, from the reception staff to the breakfast staff and in particular the Night Porter who just wants to sleep on the reception sofa all night and if you disturb him when returning after a night out you will get abuse.

10. but beware of Rosa, she's massively unprofessional and is rude and obnoxious as they come, she really needs to be brought down a peg and i will be filing an official complaint about her as what she did was massively unacceptable but besides that, this hotel is simply put: perfect for NYC The Empire State was right outside our window and literally around the corner, everything is right on your doorstep, you will not be disappointed.
